Client Success Stories
Mirjana Praštalo, Director of Key Accounts - Accounting
Bringing together our key account managers from Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia for a four-day Grand Voyage sailing experience was one of the best decisions we've made for our team.

Most of our collaboration happens remotely, and while we're used to working efficiently across borders, we lacked that deeper personal connection. Grand Voyage gave us exactly what we needed — a shared journey that challenged us, bonded us, and let us grow as a team.

The setting was unforgettable: sailing between islands, working together on the boat, sharing meals under the stars, and having open, honest conversations far away from the usual office noise. It wasn't just relaxing — it was transformative.

We came back aligned, energized, and more connected than ever. If you're serious about building a stronger, more cohesive team, Grand Voyage is not just a teambuilding – it's a turning point.
Miha Lavtar, CEO and Founder - Digital Agency
Grand Voyage provided us with a truly unforgettable experience. When we first considered taking our marketing and development teams out on a sailing trip, we expected it to be a fun break from our usual routine. What we didn't expect was how deeply it would impact our team dynamics and bring us closer together.

Despite the weather throwing us a curveball with strong winds and rain, it actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The challenging conditions pushed our team to work together, adapt quickly, and support each other in a way we hadn't experienced before. Everyone had to rely on one another in a completely new context, which helped us grow both as a team and as individuals.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the trip was the leadership provided by the skipper. His calm, confident approach in tough conditions made everyone feel safe and allowed us to focus on the experience itself rather than worrying about the weather. The skipper not only guided us through the sailing but also fostered an environment of trust and collaboration.

By the end of the trip, our marketing and development teams were more aligned than ever before. The experience was far more than just a retreat — it was a shared adventure that brought out the best in all of us. We came back with stronger bonds, a renewed sense of camaraderie, and a fresh perspective on how we approach both our work and our collaboration.
Gea, CEO and Founder - Physiotherapy
Partnering with Grand Voyage was one of the best decisions we've made for our community. We wanted to offer our clients something beyond the usual retreats—a true adventure that would inspire personal growth and deep connection. What we got was extraordinary. We spent our days sailing between breathtaking bays, jumping off cliffs into crystal-clear water, sharing meaningful conversations, and relaxing in the serenity of nature. Evenings were magical—dancing under the stars, bonding over fresh local food, and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of life at sea.

The entire experience was flawlessly organized, with a professional, warm-hearted crew who made everyone feel safe and welcome. Our clients left not only refreshed but transformed, with new friendships and unforgettable memories. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to any coach or leader looking to create a powerful and lasting impact for their community.
Meta, Head of HR - Calcium Carbonate producer
What started as a small, one-time event to bring our team together has evolved into a tradition that now brings over 50 people together every year. For the past 15 years, this annual sailing trip has been a core part of our company culture, and for the past 10 years, we've had the pleasure of working with Grand Voyage to make it all happen.

From the very beginning, Grand Voyage understood our goals: to provide a space where employees from every part of the company could connect, bond, and build relationships in a unique environment. As our team has grown and our needs have changed, Grand Voyage has been with us every step of the way, finding fresh ideas, new destinations, and creative ways to keep the experience exciting, meaningful, and relevant.

The team-building impact of these trips has been undeniable. The experience breaks down barriers, fosters collaboration, and strengthens the bonds between departments that don't always have the chance to interact in the office. Grand Voyage has not only helped us create lasting memories but has also played a critical role in bringing our diverse team closer together, year after year.
David Zalar, Key account manager - Undergarments
Our teambuilding event with Grand Voyage was the ultimate reward for our sales team's successful year. While we were already a tight-knit group, this experience took our connection to a whole new level. The combination of sailing through beautiful waters and celebrating together in Hvar was the perfect way to unwind, recharge, and reflect on our achievements. We had plenty of fun, from enjoying the serene beauty of the sea to unforgettable nights out in Hvar. The atmosphere was lively, with everyone letting loose and enjoying each other's company—though, admittedly, a few of us were feeling the effects the next day!

What made this event stand out was how seamlessly it was organized. Everything—from the logistics to the activities—was handled perfectly, allowing us to focus on what mattered most: celebrating our success and strengthening our team's bond. It wasn't just about having fun, though that was certainly a big part of it—it was also an opportunity for us to reflect on our teamwork, build deeper relationships, and create memories we'll cherish for years to come. I highly recommend Grand Voyage to any team looking to celebrate success and make lasting memories in a unique, impactful way.
Gal Mally, CEO and Founder - Gym24
As the CEO of a fitness company, I always look for ways to bring my team closer together while pushing them to grow both personally and professionally. Our teambuilding event with GV was the perfect way to do this. I wanted our staff to not only have fun but also challenge themselves as leaders—and that's exactly what we achieved.

The event was a well-rounded experience, with a great mix of teambuilding exercises and insightful lectures that inspired personal growth and leadership development. But we really kicked it up a notch with a fitness challenge on the boat, which brought out the competitive spirit in everyone while also fostering teamwork in a truly unique setting. The combination of adventure, fitness, and learning made this event something special, and it's already sparking ideas for next year. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend GV for any company looking to boost team dynamics and leadership in an exciting, memorable way.
Špela Čavničar, Head of HR - Insurance
We knew organizing a teambuilding event for over 80 people on 9 boats would be a logistical challenge, but Grand Voyage exceeded all our expectations. Every aspect—from planning and coordination to execution on the water—was handled with remarkable professionalism and care. The crew kept everything running smoothly, ensuring that everyone, regardless of sailing experience, felt comfortable, engaged, and safe throughout the journey.
